ABOUT THIS SHOW

Ron’s “Milestone” Birthday Extravaganza Celebration, with The Strolling Clones and joining The Great Northern, extra special guests Chris Silver, Ari Silver, and Erin Govrik!

The Great Northern

The Great Northern is a Minnesota roots/americana band, honoring the musical village where American rock, roots rock, blues, bluegrass, country, country rock, and folk roads meet and intermingle. The artists they cover are deep and eclectic, ranging from Emmylou Harris to Bob Dylan; Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard to Gillian Welch; Lucinda Williams to Taj Mahal.

For this special evening, The Great Northern will be joined by extra special guests Chris Silver, Ari Silver and Erin Govrik. Multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter Chris Silver has been a mainstay on the roots and bluegrass music scene and Ari, his son, has been making a name for himself as both a touring musician in national bluegrass bands and with his own group. Erin Govrik’s voice has lifted many audiences to new heights in the many bands she has been in over the years.

The Strolling Clones

The Strolling Clones have been giving musical "satisfaction" to Minnesota audiences since 2012. They are a local Rolling Stones cover band who play both the hits everyone knows and some rare gems to keep things interesting. They have 9 pieces, including 3 horns and are faithful to the music and spirit of the Stones. It's only rock n' roll, but they like it and hope you will too!
