Samora Pinderhughes, founder of The Healing Project, is a composer, pianist, vocalist, filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist known for examining sociopolitical issues and fighting for change through his art. Lauded as “…one of the most affecting singer songwriters today, in any genre” by The New York Times and “a magical being” by Forbes, Samora is shaping new worlds through his art, his honesty, and his vulnerability.

Theo Langason
Theo Langason (he/him) is a multidisciplinary theatre artist, teaching artist, and musician based in Minneapolis. Theo has been working nationally and internationally as an actor, director, musician, composer, improviser, poet, and teaching artist for over a decade. Theo's music is lyrically rich, using imagery and metaphor to create songs that invite tenderness and connection.

Elliott Skinner
Elliott Skinner is a Texas-raised, Brooklyn-based artist with a multi-faceted approach to folk and soul music. Skinner's multiple avenues of music-making include singing, guitar, bass, composing, producing, and arranging. Improvisation plays a large role in Skinner’s compositions; He wishes to reflect the history, texture, and roots of Black culture in his music.
In the last few years, Skinner has held residencies across New York and Brooklyn, opened for Hiatus Kaiyote, Amos Lee and Kamasi Washington, and was music director and bass player for Leon Bridges touring band. He has released a handful of solo tracks and plans on expanding his contemporary blend of folk, rock, soul, and blues into a new album in 2025. Continuing to experiment with a variety of artists, themes, and sounds will define his new material as he takes his solo output to unexpected places.
