The one & only Minneapolis Afrobeats Dance Party is back!! Celebrating our 35th Anniversary in full shake body festive form, charismatic host/Culture Rapper, Fananka Nation brings his fusion of hip-hop, African and other worldly sonic delights together with his band and DJ King Swank.
This version of the Dance Party features the very special performance of DYNAMQ, aka The Nile Crocodile, The Sudanese Son, DJ Dynamq. Get your dancing shoes on for this one!

Dynamq (born Kennedy O Lorya) is a global artist and former refugee from South Sudan, boasts a track record of charity work across South Sudan, Haiti, Kenya, and Uganda. He’s a producer for international musicians such as Busy Signal, Mr. Vegas, Big Mountain, and more, showcasing a rich musical portfolio. Notably, he achieved a milestone as one of the first South Sudanese artists to hit a million views on multiple YouTube videos.
His track “Remember Those Days in Nairobi” holds the title of the most played reggae song in East and Central Africa, cementing his musical impact in the region. With a worldwide tour history and a magnetic stage presence, he’s connected deeply with diverse audiences, leaving a lasting impact from dancehall clubs to reggae festivals on different continents.
Dynamq’s prowess extends to dominating Sound System culture, winning championships like the ‘Global Sound Clash’ during Reggae Sumfest and the ‘Sound Clash At Sea’ on the Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise. His skill, preparation, and charisma have earned him recognition at renowned events like the Far East Reggae Cruise, Guinness Sounds of Greatness, Groovin’ In The Park in NYC, Rebel Salute in Jamaica, and appearances at the Rototom Festival in Spain.
